Where oh where to even begin with these two love birds…?

I met them when I photographed Melissa’s sister-in-law’s engagement and maternity session. She told me that whenever her and her boo get engaged she was going to call me up.

About three months I get a text from Melissa saying they were engaged and booking vendors for their destination wedding. When I asked where and when she told me “Jamaica”, I about lost it. They wanted to hire little ole me for a destination wedding in Jamaica? Oh hell yes!

…and fast forward to a little over a year after that, we were on a plane headed to gorgeous Jamaica and let me say, it was nothing short of incredible.

Their wedding was at the gorgeous Azul Beach Resort in Negril, Jamaica. It was a two and a half hour bus drive (bus directly a part of the resort) starting from the airport in Montego Bay. The views and accommodations were impeccable, as well as the food, and you truly cannot go wrong with having your destination wedding there.

Everything from the details, to the rooftop ceremony, to the blistering heat and high humidity, to the sweat running down our backs to our ass cracks, to the crazy and hilarious reception, to the cliff jumping….shall I go on?

Cliff jumping? HECK YES! Rick’s Cafe is a staple in Jamaica. A famous location where you can stuff your face with delicious foods and guzzle down tasty drinks as you watch people plunge to the depths below…or you can be the one jumping. Whatever floats your boat!
